There is probably some statistic to back that up, but honestly, I didn't feel the increase in downforce in the back or lightening of downforce in the front. Granted, I don't really drive my cars hard, but it just didn't feel like it was trying to kill me like my GT2. :D

You don't want to be the statistic.

The tail at the rear, coupled with no spoiler in front, could create a severe understeer issue at some level of speed. This has long been a basic tenet with t-bar cars.

Does anyone have any input re: a Ducktail/\ / Splitters fitted on to a 76 912E?

I want to keep the original but would like to have the option of bolting on a Ducktail... project almost ready for the paint shop and want to paint them both.

Any help appreciated.

Paul

912E is a 911 with a 4 cylinder. The body is identical.

Can't say I've seen it done, most 912E's stick to the original bodywork - a few have SC flares at most. It would have the same appearance as any midyear 911 with a ducktail, I think it could be quite nice - but be sure to get a front lip as well to offset the downforce.
