83Sc - muffler and tail light questions

83SC 3.0, 115k, lots of updated parts like airbox, tensioners, rubber bits, plugs, freshly adjusted. no performance changes other than all new fluids and removal of ac right before it went to bed for the winter.
this is my new weekend / feeling bad on a sunny day car which will see about 5k a year, possibly 1 or 2 DE events this summer depending on work. i picked up a dansk cat bypass (cheap!) and now i am starting to look for the matching muffler. browsing our host's offerings leaves me with 3 possible choices:

1. Dansk Sport Muffler, Polished Stainless Steel, Single Inlet, 84mm Single Tail Pipe

2. Dansk Sport Muffler, Aluminized Steel with Black Finish, Single Inlet, 70mm Single Stainless Tail Pipe

3. Dansk Sport Muffler, Polished Stainless Steel, Single Inlet, 84mm Dual Tail Pipes

this brought up a few questions. how long will an aluminized muffler last? based on my driving needs/wants is the stainless really worth the cost of two aluminuzed? is there any benefit to changing to a dual outlet (#3)? how will this setup (with bypass) compare to the stock in terms of loudness?

my second question is about the R tail lights. the AR Concepts version out host lists is on a call basis, no price. google turned up only one other supplier online having them listed at $440 but no mention of manufacturer or brand of bulb housing used. are these the only places to find this? anyone have an idea what they go for on pelican? i can call them just as easy in the morning but it's 10pm now and thought someone might know.

thanks shane but i have already been through that thread. not really looking for the sound itself but rather how much louder over stock would it be from someone's ear perspective.

I think what you want may be difficult. Sound and loudness are pretty subjective.

Some think a Dansk is much too loud over stock, others think it's fine.

I would maybe try hear one in person. Yeah, I know it's winter.

I like my Flo-Pro. It sounds just right for me.

Our 1in1 outs are not very loud at all though thats my thoughts. Before purchasing I would suggest listening to as many cars as possible first. The dansk mufflers are fine but not a get what you pay for muffler for sure as the internals are not stainless but rather mild steel on all of there mufflers. Best of luck with your selection and I will bow out as to not muddy the waters

I have a Dansk 1 in, 84mm single outlet. If it is louder than stock, then it sure isn't noticable to me.
It sounds a little bit deeper, darker (just a little) but louder? No

no, not really after volume. i would like it a little deeper but this really falls under the "while you are in there" category since i will be replacing the cat this spring. i may end up just staying with the stock until it needs replacing but i see various versions of used mufflers decently priced on here all the time and was just wondering.

so far i only have half of an answer to one of my questions. let's try this again.

how long will an aluminized muffler last? based on my driving needs/wants is the stainless really worth the cost of two aluminuzed? is there any benefit to changing to a dual outlet (#3)?

how long will an aluminized muffler last?1-Depending on the conditions you drive, it could last ten years.
based on my driving needs/wants is the stainless really worth the cost of two aluminuzed?2-Yes it is, if you don't not want to buy a muffler again.

is there any benefit to changing to a dual outlet (#3)?
3-A dual outlet will typically create drone at certain RPMs as well as be louder than a single outletversion. If you don't want your car to be much louder than stock I would not install a dual outlet muffler.
