Found a squeak
I've had a sqeak for a while now , but have now found the problem
It was on the right rear, and would get quicker the faster I went It turned out to be the retaining spring holding the e brake shoes in place had broken, so the shoe was not sitting square and the end of the spring was dragging in the drum (damage minimum) Ordered new ones from our host Now I have one more noise to address , a rubber on metal sound when i go over a bump When sorting out the first problem I found a sort of "damper" holding the rear bumper on and the nut was a bit loose, on tightening it made the same noise, I thought that was it ..... but no ![]() My sway bar mounts are good, but could it be the bushes that have hardened? Any advice Dean 1984 turbo look |
