where to get new dme relay
Ok, everyone tells me to keep a spare dme relay for my 84 911. Since the local dealer wants $60, any good web sites where I can get one cheaper? thanks

I see that the DME is only $43.90 from Pelican and recent threads have definitely shown I should have a spare (or buy two and replace the current one). I can't seem to find any tech articles on this and I know that it is located under the seat on my '86 Carrera. Is it easy to get at and replace? Anyone have any instructions or photos to guide me through it?
Sorry if this seems like a no brainer to many of you, but I am still a checkbook wrench in training. Thanks again! jrdavid68 |

It's just a small square with a wire harness plug on the bottom, just unplug the wires and then plug the new one in. As easy as changing a light bulb.
