I am building another set of wheels for the car right now, they should be finished in two weeks, but they won't make the car look like a factory RSR, sorry to dissapoint ;) two new rounds of photos for you guys.. http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/v...r_parts037.jpg http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/v...r_parts040.jpg http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/v...r_parts046.jpg http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/v...r_parts058.jpg |
Left the car with Northwest Auto Salon here in Seattle for the day to give the car a final polish.. great group of guys who specialize in detailing high-end cars; NorthWest Auto Salon - Premier Seattle Auto Detailing & Car Care They made it look like I knew what I was doing when I painted the car! If anyone of you Seattle locals need your car detailed, look these guys up!

Car came out great! You really did a nice job. Can you mention the magazines?
|
I don't always like flares and duck tails on 993s but your car looks great. Nice job man.
|
Frikin' great.

Another very nice ride. Inspiring thread. I have been thinking about a cool 993 track car too long, maybe its your color that makes it sooo cool. Wide selection of wheel options makes this interesting as well.
Great to see what is finished from time to time on line! The silver 356 posted above is very inspiring too! Good job ! Regards, |
Thanks again guys
BReyes, I still wish I had done Purple instead of Polar silver! :) A group of us took our cars down to Portland Internation Raceway this week for a PCA event. SO much fun. Amazing what this car is capable of.. I was really impressed and I sure did learn a lot! http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/vwoah/pir4.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/vwoah/pir2.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/vwoah/pir5.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/vwoah/pir32.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/vwoah/pir8.jpg Photos taken by Matthew Eaton |
WOW, nice!
How is the ride quality being so slammed? No rear tire rubbing issues??? |
Beautiful build and such an impressive outcome. Very inspirational...you did everything to perfection..WOW.
|
Great build, Kevin

Nice looking car an great build story, but I got to ask; you put a new roof on and welded up the water nozzles, why not get rid of the drip rails and leading edges as well?
|
Absolutely stunning car. Only quibble I have is that my eye keeps getting drawn to the front lip. Seems like it was a better match for the 3.8 rs wing than the duck. as is, in my opinion, the rear looks a little cleaner and tucked in than the front.
Then again, if you need the downforce it provides, have at it. Really beautiful car. One of the only 993 hotrods I've found to work well. |
Car is still for sale

If only I had the money and space :(

If I could get rid of the Slant, I'd be on this in a heartbeat. Beautiful, well executed car.

Thank you. The car sold last year!
