911 SC 7 & 8 tire recommendations???
Can anyone make a recommendation on any of the listed mid-range tires for 7 & 8 Fuchs? Tires are going on a 81' 911 SC and will be used for moderate to psychotic street use only (no track). Road environment: Foothills of Northern California (definitely some weather, but not too extreme). Thanks!!!

I use BF Goodrich g-Force Sport on 15's 205/55/15 and 225/50/15 for matching tire heights.
Are you using 15" or 16"s ?

I really like Falken Tires. I have run most of them and for the money can't be beat. I have Ziex on my car right now. They are good. I have also ran St115 with great results.

I watched it online... I've seen the Bay break in Person, but I cannot imagine being there on THAT day. Must have been amazing.

It was amazing to see it close out, the power of the surf is fearsome, the people who surf that stuff are nuts. The crowds go crazy when the big sets come in, its not so much cheering for the surfer as it is just hoping they survive. I had a perfect spot on the guardrail looking down on the bay.

FWIW, I have 7's and 8's with stock sized Yokohama S. Drive tires. Very nice all around tire. I am not too wild about them on the track, but I won't replace them until they wear out.
