Help with color for race car?

Hi everyone,

I need to get the race car painted, I am selling it so color choice is needing to be more of something that would appeal to a buyer rather than my taste. Please give me your thoughts.... Thanks

The colors that I have thought of are:

Bright white
Cream white
Silver
Gunmetal silver (darker)

White is always a good base color then the buyer can use vinyl to personalize it .

You know I should be the guy who likes Sahara Biege since the IROC Series RSR I have is that color but I would not use that as it might not appeal to everyone.. since you are selling the car.

If you're selling it, anyway, why not just go with white. It'll make the next owner's task of creating a livery easier. More of a blank canvas from a psychological perspective.

white or silver....i would not go dark, hot on the track....also, I had a thread about the interior and all agreed that light grey is best for the inside…..my personal fav. For the whole car (mine anyway):

The interior, trunk and engine compartment are all done in light gray already. That was the original color that the builder painted them so the are not needing paint.

The body was upgraded to a super wide RSR and that is the reason for new paint.

Gulf or Martini color schemes seem to be always popular. I'd buy it with that. But white is cheaper and safer probably ...

i would go the other direction, pick a classic race color from the 70s, the car is already grey, do you really think painting it white or silver is going to make much difference for selling? viper green, gulf blue, orange, mexico blue etc...
