HELP W/ Weatherstrip - Please !!
I am replacing all the door opening and Targa top seals in my '85. I can not see what/where/how the ends on the door opening seals are to attach to the upper "A" & "B" pillar seals.
I understand that the upper A/B pillar seals need to drain water run-off down into the lower door opening seals and out through the drain holes. The problem is that the lower door opening seals are cut square at both ends and both A/B pillar upper seals are angled-cut. I have tried to angle cut one lower door seal to try to mate it to the inside of upper A seal but it doesn't look right, I understand that they need to be glued but I'm missing something. Please help w/Pics !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This probably is not helpful, but I was going to tackle this job and then decided to pay $50 to my local autobody repair place who I have gotten to know. I supplied the parts and they did the work. End result was much better than I could do. Maybe someone like that could at least point you in the right direction.

I have done this many times just not. on a 911- I am certain. that there is a specific way. To cut and join the ends
Any restorers here?

It still does not address my problem of replacing all the opening seals and how to join them at the ends
