fuchs on a 964

Has anyone put fuchs on a 964? I did a search but didn't come up with anything. If someone has one, I'd love to see some pictures of it.

thanks

Mark

I don't think OEM Fuchs are a bolt on proposition for a couple of reasons...reasons detailed in Paul Fere's book but I can't remember the specifics at the moment.

However, I wonder if one of those companies currently offering oversized (ie Alton 17") Fuchs-style wheels could come up with something.

the offset is extremely different between factory Fuchs and factory 964 wheels.

They would bolt to the hubs just fine but look foolish.

There is a company inthe UK that sells backdated 911s that wear Fuchs style wheels. Paul Stephens | Used Porsche For Sale | 2002*Porsche 996 3.6 C2 Cabriolet | Porsche Specia... Check out the PSAutoart section for pics. They look odd to me.

I actually shipped a set to a client Friday for 964!

Maybe he'll post some pics when he gets them installed...

the offset on original fuchs would screw up the ABS

you'd never get them in the fenders, as previously posted. Plus, you'd be limiting yourself in brake choices, if you could mount the original 16s...

Pictured above are 17x8/9s
