Skill testing question .. Whats this for?
I have an empty bracket on each side of my 85 widebody. I cant find any reference to a missing part. It looks like a gromet should go in there? But to hold what? thanks Doug

maybe a brake pad wear indicator? looks like the rubber looking line just under your finger goes in there.
my 89 had those built into the pads. cheers ed

+1 - looks like the wear indicator wire would clip in there.
