Can someone confirm this is correct for a 74 carrera?

No, it's a '74 911 coupe. Not even an 'S', a Carrera should have a 4 on the 5th number from the left.

4 = Model year
1 = 911 (Carrera would have a "4" at this digit)
0 = Coupe
2393 = consecutive build #
