Question How long have you owned your car?

Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary with my car! It's been the best year of my life, and I look forward to many more.

So how about the rest of you? How long have you been together?

Almost 2 yrs now. Funny, I never kept a car very long (except for my Volvos) . I think this is more of a marriage type relationship with the SC. Gonna be around for a long time. I was a real car nut when I was younger. Before we had children my wife had a Vette and I had a Vette. Our only transportation besides our motorcycles. She had her own bike too. When the kids came along, so did the Volvos and cars just became transportation. I rocked along without any passion for automobiles for about 15 yrs. Then this Porsche came along and woke me up. Yeah, gonna be around for a long time.

1 1/2 years.

In about five or so more, my driving capabilities might just catch up with it.

I bought mine in March of '99. Mostly troublefree... until now. I'd only sell it to get another one

Since Feb. 1999. Generally a car lasts about 1 year with me.

She has only stopped running once. A bad fuel pump.

I've had the '77 for 12 years. The '86 for 4 years. The fever for 24 years.

I got the 912 from my wife for Valentine's Day in 1990. And then I bought the Carrera in 1993 when I was ready to upgrade. But, I still love that 912.

In March 2002 ( I cant believe it will be 2002 already) I will have had the 83sc for 2 years, my one and only daily driver.

From 1983 to 2000, the car went 75K miles.....from March 2000 to now, I have put 40K miles on it to 115K...just love to drive!
