DME RELAY OEM v/s ÜRO

Has anyone purchased ÜRO PARTS relays?

It would appear that the OEM and ÜRO PARTS prices have a substantial price spread.

Thanks,

Gerry

I haven't, but I think it's worth noting that the last one I bought (well, two, actually, one for a spare) is rated at 30 amps (so it says) as opposed to the original that was stamped "15 amp"...should make for a much sturdier device, and should last forever......right.....
Brand is "Kaehler" (K.A.E.) from Berlin. I trust the relay und mein auto speak the same language.

i'm not very happy with URO electric products. that DME relay has a high percentage of failures according to my worldpac salesman. the provided attaching clip has holes that are too small to fit over the 6mm attaching stud on the floor. the window switches are trash.

John,

Point well taken, as a DME relay failure can evolve into additional "little" events such as car accidents, sleeping underneath the moon and more..............

Thanks,

Gerry

I tried one of those Uro DME relays a few months ago.

It was non-working right out of the box.
