Washer nozzle jets interchangeable 911/964/993

I needed to replace some washer jets on my 84 and I got sent what looks like jets for the 964/993 - they seem to be lower profile design which actually look better than what I have on there now.

Question is are they interchangeable - the base on the new ones looks bigger than my old ones, plus the new ones are heated (not sure I need that)

Anyway just wondering of the hole in the sheet metal is the same size for both or different.

Thanks -

I replaced these on my '87 911 when I first bought it in 2000 because they were chalky white due to years of wax residue. I recall them being easy to replace, so you should be able to pop out your old one and compare it to the new one.

Also, the jets on my '87 are heated. According to parts software, your '84 is not (started in '85). The '84 part number is a 914 number, the '85 is a 928 number and the 964, 993 share the same 993 number. They'll probably fit fine and your chassis elec. harness simply isn't wired to heat them. They're nothing more than a barbed fitting that washer fluid is pumped thru. So you're not at risk of any electrical problems Give it a shot and see what you find. Might have to disconnect a few hoses from the fresh air handler in the trunk to get at the nozzles.
