Cat Bypass
Hi,
Im currently running a cat bypass ,with a 1 in 1 out dansk sport muffler. This is the set up, which was on the car when I got it and it does have a great sound. I do feel though that it is a touch loud and wondered, if any one has had this set up, then opted for a pre muffler against the bypass. Im kinda thinking ,this will calm it down a bit and would like to hear from anyone who could comment on this, before I take the plunge. Thanks in advance

I replaced my Cat Bypass with an M&K pre muffler and it was a big difference. It was still loud but noticeably quieter. It was just not as raw as raspy.

I was thinking of going the other direction, and doing some home-made modification to the cat to create my own "free" by-pass pipe.
Will it be too loud? I have just the stock muffler. I am not looking to be louder, but maybe if it ran a little better, that would be good. Will this help?

could be an option to open it up and gut it then seal it up again.
