Transmission dissasembly question
I'm almost through part one and decided to call it an evening when I could not get this post or washer out/off to remove the last gear. It looks like there is a lock ring in the picture but I'm quite sure its just the camera light. Can anyone coach me through the last step in the cone? thanks Doug

That post is called the Reverse Idler Pin, it just drops into the hole. You are there. Grab the gear and pull both the gear and the idler pin up at the same time. They come out together.
