Unless the organizers give me a spot for FREE, after last year's lack of promotion, I am OUT !

+1 Last year was a bust.

Actually, even if it were free it would cost too much.

They have a lot of work to do to regain confidence.

Instead of six months of bashing the last show, which is where this thread will surely lead, I'd suggest we all support the next...if you want there to be a next. Worst case is you have an interesting destination for a weekend P-Car drive. I'm sure the new organizers will apply lessons learned and put on a good event.

I have no interest in bashing the last two events, run by the new organizers. Unless there are new new organizers? In which case I would like to hear from them what their plans are for this event. Even if the organizers are the same as the past two years I would like to hear their plans, prior to committing to participating and allocating the time and resources to come to the west coast, It is not just a pleasant P-Car weekend drive for all of us. We want to have a successful venue for this type of show, the promoters have some work to do if this is to be the venue.

The event organizers are the same. If you would like to talk to them, please contact doug@worldclassmotoring.com or eddie@worldclassmotoring.com 1-800-986-4977. They are always happy to talk to vendors or show-goers.

Hi Guys
I went to the Phoenix Club Early S . 912 Registry, R Gruppe, PCA swap and show this am. The guys from WCM (promotors of the Ventura Show) were there with a display and anyone that participated in the Santa Monica Mountain Tour in 09, was given a dvd of the event. You can contact them at their store to get your copy.

Ignition 3 TV productions did an outstanding job putting together a pastiche of cars and people from that afternoon run.

Doug from WCM , tells me they will be sharing their plans for the 2010 Ventura Show soon

California can sure use a great Fall event. We wish them the best

I visited WCM yesterday and was warmly welcomed. I have been meaning to stop in to support them as they have taken on a heady task, and in my opinion a worthwhile task at that.

I am going to be there as the swap meet last year was my year to score. I recall the previous years when there was so much to do there, but I am sure it was expensive for the vendors. I am in, and will support all vendors that attend (well with some limitations as in my wallet ). Oh and Chuck, my goal is to FINALLY have my suspension project completed so you can finally believe me : )
