New Carrera Side Decals Installed

It seems like I have been changing my 'look' over the past couple years. I received my new side decals today courtesy of Mikez (http://nbd.4nets.com/)
Its a very easy DIY.

Here are some pics of my transformation over the last 4 years. I know some may not approve but hey, thats the beauty of this hobby right.

2006 - Standard stock look 6's & 7's

2007 - Added stong guard (mistake) polished 7's & 8's, tinted windows. Euro rear lens.

2008 - added Cup 7.5's & 9 Replicas, powder coated black. Removed black rear bumpers.

2009 - Removed black stone guards - added Carrera side script.

Very Nice David, I happen to like the stone guards. Your end result, (today), looks awesome, good job.

Very nice car. Just for me, decals, stone guards and the polished Fuch's. Have to be photo shopped to check the look of the stone guards and decals. I dunno, maybe to much? I do love the polished wheels though. What sizes?...want to clear up some space in the garage? :>)

Stacked in the garage, if the right offer came along I might sell. They are 16 - 7-8's Al Reed polished and powder coated - perfect.

The decal -- and the car -- look great. I like the bumper change, too.

(I'll admit, though, that I think the original black-centered Fuchs look better than the Cup replicas.)

That looks absolutely fantastic... How does it ride with those 17's, any difference from the 16's?

I agree about the black Fuchs vs. the Cups. Put the original stock black Fuchs back on it and that thing would look bad ass. I dig it though, it still look rope.

nice work Dave, I think you nailed it! Granted, not a single one of your pics looks bad.

Dave ...saw(heard first) what I thought was you driving down Argyle around 5:30. I was at the lakes/park area. I thought I had seen Carrera decals on the side and the black wheels so I wasn't sure. I was thinking it might be somebody else, so I jumped on here to take a look....it was you. Looked awesome, sounded even better!

I like pic #1...no tint and stock looking rims. Stock 7 x 8" would be better still

Do not get me wrong, I like decals .......see my CS decals Mikez did for my GP white SCarrera...linky in my sig. I also deleted the rear bumper anchors for cleaner look.

Either way, the car looks great. Guards red 88's rock !
