Availability of new 8" x 16" Fuchs wheels

Hi all, does anybody know if they still manufacture genuine Fuchs rims as I'm desperatly after a pair of 8 X 16 and I don't really want to settle for replicas and finding some old rims is nigh impossible....thanks heaps

they do, but they're not cheap.
A good pair of 8"s should not be that hard to find.

They come up once in a while in the classifieds...
I picked up a pair of 951 offset 8 inch Fuchs last summer from DC Automotive and i have to say i was impressed by the excellent condition of those 1986 vintage wheels !

Be patient as a nice set will pop up eventually

Otto Fuchs KG still produces the wheels but according to their website the wheels are only available through Porsche dealers.

They only mention the 6x16 size, but there is not a lot of info for this wheel on their site so other sizes might still be in production as well.

Fuchs is not in production at the time. But in stock (Germany) there are some 8"/16" ET23,3 and 9"/16" ET23,3. 1pcs app €900. I've got a list price from Porsche ag for the total package 2x7" and 2x8" €3800.

Buy them used and send them away for refurbishing - it's worth it

Check with Sunset Porsche as they charge 15% over dealer cost. Last time i checked 8's were more than 9's. They were around 1600-1700 a pair. Why not call PP and see how much they could get them for...

I wouldn't pay crazy money for a set of used fuchs with unknown history. There are quite a few of these used fuchs coming up cracked - search the board.

When it was time for me to get wider and bigger wheels, I just went and bought a 993. It has some nice Fikses.

JMHO.
