As someone who was recently in the market for real Fuchs wheels, listings like this one made me mad. It should say "replica" or "Fuchs-like" so I don't have to waste my time reading the text of the ad. I am sure the seller doesn't want to do that because he wants people to read the ad.

There are so many fake Fuchs listed as Fuchs that it is annoying. And I do think it is misleading, because the listing heading is not clear that they are fakes.

Nothing wrong with making and selling replica Fuchs. Everyone, including Pelican, does it.

Pelican sells Linea Fox wheels and Euromeister wheels. There is no attempt in the name or description to connect them with Fuchs. The eBay item is described as "Fuchs Black Wheels." Yes, in the details that they mention that it is a replica - after they lure you into looking for the "Fuchs" for sale. eBay calls it "keyword spamming."

Maybe the seller should have posted "Fuchs replica wheels" in the heading but he certainly isn't trying to be deceitful once you click on his auction. He plainly states that they are cast wheels and that they are replica's of Fuchs wheels. Yes, he did waste 15 seconds of somebody's life, if they were looking for the real wheels. But to call him a liar and deceitful, etc. is also a bit much.

Doesn't take much to get some of people ruffled........

I think anyone who has spent any time on ebay looking for Fuchs knows that most wheels listed in a search, aren't.

Price is usually a dead giveaway. Does anyone expect new "Fuchs" to be $549 for a set?
