Brown Out
Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to share some photos of my recently finished 1980 SC 3.6 conversion in Unsaleable Mocha Brown. The car was built by Tony Turchin and Squire Tomasi at Squire's Autowerke in Bellevue Washington. Some of the main features are: 1995 3.6 Non-Vario, Wevo Shifter, Glen Sanders Torsion Bars 22 front 29 rear, Carrera Sway Bars 22 front 21 rear with Wevo Barbs, Bilstein Sports, RUF Front Valence, and Duck by MASHAW. Tony and Squire did a Great job, and the car is a joy to drive. Smiling ear to ear, Bob Wood ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Very nice! Loving the browns lately.
So how many oil coolers are you using? I see the front valance and two air scoops at the front. Do you have one in each front fender and in the center?

Really nice looking car,....
While SSI's are very well made, they are too small for a 3.6 and you're leaving about 22HP behind. ![]() ![]() Some 993 HE's can be modified to fit and they will wake it up from 4K on.

Thanks mca,
Just 1 Setrab 500 Competition Oil Cooler in the nose. Car is running nice and cool. Appreciate your point on the exhaust Steve, but right at the moment, power does not seem to be an issue.

Brown is one of those colors that is in and out. To sale it you have to wait until Brown is in, which is supposedly now. Personally, I like Mocha Brown, but more important to me, I really like what you have done to your car. Thats about everything I would want to do to mine.

Unsaleable my eye. Once you own a brown car, little else will do. Great car!

Thank you all for the kind remarks. The whole experience of putting the car together with Squire and Tony has made this 60 year old feel like a kid. I guess when it comes to Porsches you never get old.

Great job!!! BTW, I'm a big Mocha Brown fan...probably the most underrated P-car color.
