my DME relay ate it while driving!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this board! I really appreciate all that I've learned here over the years.

Yesterday I was pulling into a parking space, and as I rounded the corner the engine just quit (uh oh!) Luckily I rolled in for a perfect park Turned the crank, a few times, nothing... Could hear the fuel pump... hmmm.... thought it might not be the DME, but then decided it's worth a try after seeing all the fuses were good... got the trusty spare DME relay out from the trunk that I learned to carry from Pelican. 5 minutes later I was driving on to my next errand!

THANKS!

BTW - I had installed the DME that failed about 50k miles ago.... Looks like it's a bad solder joint, so i'll re-flow it and throw it in as a spare.
