Do seatbacks come off easily?

I'd like to split my seats in two (remove seatbacks from bases) in order to ship more efficiently. Do the seats come apart easily? My seats are 4-way electric from an early 90's 911.

Very easy. Take off the plastic covers on either side of the seat back. Unbolt.

OK. I took the plastic covers off and saw two bolts (each side) with a lot of other stuff hanging out. I just want to be sure when I take them apart that I don't get an explosion of springs and "seat guts"!

There may also be a cable that needs to be undone but no, no explosions.
