SC Flasher Relay

Found it, and I have all the symptoms; erratic, wrong or no direction for the turn signals, and intermittent function for the flashers. I bought a Hella, got a good grip on the bad relay but it won't come out with what should be enough force. I don't want to break anything. Should I be worried? Any ideas?

"Too much force".

I don't know what to much force might be.

I would hold down the relay connecting interface platform (base), and very gently wiggle the relay back and forth.

If the relay is on a harness, you should be able to wiggle both sides.

Take it slow.

Thanks Gerry. I can only get one hand in. I'll have to try and get someone to maybe hold down the base from the trunk access with something.
I had a brake light switch connector melt and I'm having flash-backs when it wouldn't come off. I had to dig out the broken spade out of the connector; Not fun.
I'll keep trying.

I was able to pull mine from the front going in through the back of the dash. I am pretty sure I was able to see it from there and reach in and get it out. There was just enough slack in the wire. I believe it was behind the brake fluid reservoir.
Hope that helps.
