Restoration Design experience
I'd like to relate my recent minor but annoying experience with Restoration Design. Bottom line is when THEY screw up and send you the wrong item, they will refuse to send you the correct one until they receive the incorrect one back. (In my case, they sent me the rocker panel for the wrong side of the car).
They will not call the shipper to arrange pickup of the incorrect item nor email you a shipping label to attach to the package - doing the legwork to get it back is up to you. They will provide their shipping account number (which requires you to improperly fill out the FedEx waybill, since it only has a space for the sender's account number, which in this case becomes you). They also say they will refund the cost if you pay to ship it back. Again, this is in the case of THEIR mistake in sending the wrong item, not your decision to return an item. In short, do not expect them to worry about getting you the correct item first - their first concern is getting the wrong one returned to them. Last edited by 70SWT; 03-19-2010 at 08:28 PM.. |

I've had great luck with them. They're a valuable resource.
