Ah yes, a beautiful girl holding your nuts.

Hey Rich - how's the turbo project coming?
I hope the "no go all show" crowd is watching with their hats in their hands. HA!

I actually received my nuts in the mail yesterday. I figured for $49 it was worth having them back!

Rarly,

We installed the motor yesterday on my lunch break. time is hard to come by during the holiday's but my 2 year old daughter was stoked and kept saying "Daddy fix-a Poor-sha". I'll post a picture later today. I still have some fuel and oil plumbing issues to address but it shouldn't be long before I'm on the road. The fuel distributor issue may still rear it's ugly head but I hooked up with a guy in ft. Lauderdale who owns an all Porsche Turbo repair shop and he stated that if the motor still had the original 1979 warm up regulator and the fuel pressures were 30-35 lbs. when cold and 50-55 lbs. when warm, I could block the frequency valve inlet and the motor would run great. We'll see.

The car is officially Lots-of-Show and Lots-of-Go. I'll keep you posted. Have a great weekend.

Wink

What size nipple do those nuts fit onto? Is the factory torque listed in Bentlely adequate for "nipular" use? I wouldn't want to strip them...
