I pulled the trigger

After six months of daily scouring listings, making phone calls, and looking at cars, I found the one that fit the bill.

It's an 83 with about 144k miles. I'm the fourth owner. Records back to the 2nd owner. I've had it out a few times in the past week, and I'm thrilled with it.

Thanks to all of you who have responded to my inquiries and provided guidance. By the time I found this one I felt like I could make a reasonably uninformed decision, as opposed to a totally ignorant decision. Here's a pic:

Thanks! Hell yeah, it's going to be a great summer! Kid, it is indeed Chiffon and brown--colors I can live with for a while, for sure.

That colour scheme, while perhaps not in the mainstream of desirability, actually look pretty good if in good repair.

Nice find and enjoy your adventure.

I love the colour combination. Don't rush to make any changes. Apart from the desire to keep the originality you might find that it grows from "I can live with for a while" to "I wouldn't change it at all".

I used to own a Pewter Metallic 82SC with brown interior. At first I hated the interior colour but after a while I really loved it. Jeez I miss that car.....

Your car looks nice. Enjoy!!

Sweet, congrats.

Don't listen to any of your buddies and do track days. It will only end up with you butchering a nice car.......ask me how I know.

Good Luck

Looks awesome - the only thing I would change would be to remove those "shark fin" stone guards. Just my opinion.
