Low. Can't remember what - about 24-24.5" with 195/60R15 (slightly small - should be 195/65).

If memory serves, US height was 26.5 front 26 rear (measuirng from high point of fender arch to ground. "Euro" height is 25.5 front 25 rear. The Euro height looks better. You can go as much as an inch lower, usually, before you've got to start worrying about contact. Early cars should have a slight 'downward rake' look to them.

If memory serves, this was the car at US height:

Oh, for the record, my car does have the downwards rake (front fender to ground 1/2" HIGHER than rear) - I took the photo above while the car was parked on a fairly steep hill with the handbrake on, and I had to tilt the camera to make it flat. This makes car look a little high in the front.

My car is very low...24.25" front, 23.75" rear.

I am pretty careful with it over speed-bumps, dips and driveways so I have never had a problem at all.

Mine sits at about 25", it just looks so high for some reason.

15-inch wheels make the car look a little higher, only because there's more space between the rim and the fender.

Yours should be at least in the ball park Tom. My SC is 27 in the front and 26 in the back. I can fit my hand sideways above the tire in the front! That's with 16x7 wheels and 205x55's in the front. The rear is much better with 8's and 225x50's. Generally, the Look is really bad though.

I'm getting it lowered in a couple of weeks and just assumed that I would go with 25.5 front 25 rear. Any SC owners who are pleased with their height tire combo- I would appreciate the info.

Thanks,
Joe

lowering

1987 Carrera with stock 6" & 7"

front 24.25, rear 24.5 - no tyre scrubbing at full tilt driving, but need to watch for steep inclines/declines in some carparks. Have a skid pad on the front and a tow hook that protects the underside front cooler.

Cheers
Mark

24.25 (front) 23.75 (rear) The lowered look is a nice look But watch out for those driveways and large speed bumps..Those can hurt sometimes..

Thanks for the input, I guess as soon as I get my brakes back together I will look into the ride height. I really want to get some 16 inch wheels, but then again there is a certain SC thats calling my name....
