My idea for wind screen for Cab. owners

I bought this item for my office and when I got it home I started looking at it closely and thought it might work for a wind screen for my 911, so off to the garage I went, put it in place and it fit perfectly. It takes about five second to install and one second to remove. I then tethered it to the seat, just in case, and off I went. I have put about 150 miles on the car, with the top down, and it has not moved yet. I dought if works as good as one that was made for the car but it works really well and much much cheaper. I'm going to try to include some pictures of wind screen, my car, and garage. Can you guess what it is and how much it cost?

It is a lumbar support for a chair and cost 7 dollars

NOT ENOUGH PICTURES!

I was guessing a half of a wastebasket, and thinking "I DOUBT someone with a garage like that is going to use a wastebasket for a windscreeen".

Nope, part of a chair.

Inquiring Porshcophile minds would like to know.

Dude...seriously...You have this beautiful car in an awsome garage and you shove a broke ass chunk of an office chair in between your seats and teather it with a d ring clip. It is probably going to leave wear marks on your otherwise flawless leather.

Your matching set of his and her stainless steel trash cans cost more than an actual wind screen.

In my best Randy Jackson voice: No...Dawg, its not good, for real dawg, no.

I found it at Acura dealer but you may find one at Staples. I used a coated cable wrapped around the seat back hinge. If you cant find one let me know.

Dude chill out, its not a broke ass chunk of an office chair, its a new lumbar support and if it leaves a mark I will have them re-upholsterd

I thought my Randy Jackson voice was chill, Ok, try my Simon Cowell british voice:

Oh, sorry, my bad, if its just the lumbar support it makes much more sense.

Really, I am just giving you an honest opinion, I really think it looks way out of place. Wait a minute, what am I saying, it is out of place. Its a lumbar support not a windscreen. If I was tooling down the road beside you and looked over, I would think you just got a broke ass chair on clearance from office max. I would not think, hey look at that genius, he thunked up a new use for a lumbar support, brilliant!

Then again, Ive been wrong before. It could just be the next hot thing. Think about it...cab owners across the world make runs on lumbar supports..the stores cant keep up with demand...people prefer these to the OEM windscreens.

Nope...its not gonna happen.

The good thing about all of this is its the Internet, and you can ride around with a lumbar support in your car all you want, its yours, its free. I don't pay you, or sleep with you, so my opinion may not matter for crapola to you. But out of respect for other cab owners and yourself please reconsider.

Simon Cowell voice off.

Completely off topic but I love that light with the twin fans. Perfect for above the bench.

Nice garage!

It looks like an universal office chair lumbar support.

Btw, I like your garage setup.

Great garage, I prefer my ball cap when the top is down, but to each his own.

donnmaddy - judging by the photo on the van...what is your business? Do you do whole garages or just floor installs?

Have garage envy as well....

donmaddy -- bootiful cab, cool garage. I noticed the neat ceiling fan. I need to track one down like that!
