Colour change advice

Hi Pelicans, as I’m new to your world some advice would be appreciated. I recently brought a 74 Carrera imported from USA to Australia. My intentions are to do a ground up restoration.
Is changing from the original colour (Sahara beige) expectable? Thinking of lime green which I think was a colour used in 74. Your thoughts and advice.......

Go with the Lime green. It will not devalue a CIS carrera from the us. If it was a real Euro Carrera with the 2.7 RS spec engine, that is another matter.

All my green 911 photos are Viper Green, not Lime.
