Its glued on so just use spray on auto trim adhesive.

Thanks - so I guess you need to take the inside rails off to get to the underside of the headliner? I've never taken the top apart before - is it straightforward or are there any tricks to it?

Your headliner is sagging all over. They are just spray glued on. The sides are tucked under the frame, the front and aft edges are under the clips that the fwd and aft bars snap into. You don't have to take the frame apart. I would use headliner glue.

I did mine a few years ago, it's very straight forward just a lot of little screws to keep track of. The foam tends to deteriorate w/ age, might as well buy a new one. The central area is glued on, I used 3M Headliner glue in a small spray can.
