Hi,
New guy on the Pelican list. I've got an `87 Carrera, want to do some fuel injection work and I'm looking for a fuel pressure guage of decent quality without spending a lot. I'm not a professional wrench, just a DYI'er but I want something I would be proud to own and can trust what it is telling me. Thanks in advance for recommendations, John Williams Alameda,CA |

I bought a "CIS fuel pressure tester" at the foreign autoparts store. It came with a bag of adapters but they weren't necessary for my '86 Carrera - the default size worked.

Can anyone suggest a specific FP gauge model or specific store to purchase one for the 3.2?
HarborFreight has one that has a couple of different fittings but says in its description ... does not fit Bosch or CIS JTronic. Thanks! |

I bought one I don't think I even ever used it. As you can see from my original post 8/2002 it's been a while so I don't even remember where I bought it. I'll try to remember to look at my receipts tonight when I get home from work and post.
This is the first time in probably years I've logged into Pelican forums, I seldom drive my Carrera anymore usually drive it to work on Fridays. I can more often be found riding a bicycle and working on my engine. New passion. jw "The bicycle a curious vehicle, its passenger is it engine" John Howard
