very nice! what are the specs on those wheels?

Tsunamiboy 04-04-2010 04:44 PM

That is rich looking! It appears a little darker then Porsche silver. Very classy.

Even with SC's Porsche had several different silvers. Lighter and darker.

Looks good.

honestly.....its a $1200 paint job. It took the guy about a month and a half to do it. I took the car apart, and had all of the individual pieces painted, and then reassembled the car when i got it back. Of course i did the wetsanding/buffing on the car. Thats the biggest difference between a cheap paint job, and an expensive one. Paint was BASF Limco, with a higher quality clear. I have a couple of small issues, but the guy is going to fix it when i get my Yellowbird bumpers painted.
here is what it looked like when i bought the car last spring

here is what it looked like when i picked it up from the painter. BTW, this was done in a shed in his back yard, with NO junk in the paint at all.

I love this shot. Paint looks like it's still wet. Really beautiful car, the whole package looks perfect.

Very neat, what a difference from when you got it! Looks like a good paint job (I for one am glad you took it apart yourself) nobody can do it in a more passionately preserving way than yourself (atleast I think so), I like that "Zymol" wax.

It looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing, I'm encouraged to know my SC can look that nice one day esp since my car looks like your "before" picture, great job.
