SC Production #s

I was just looking at my vin # and realized if you subtract my car #2092 from the total of 2457 cars built in 1982 you get 365(the # of days in a year) not a bad #. This got me thinking who has car #666 or car #1791. I know...I know I have too much time on my hands!

Please keep in mind that your "2457" number includes only 1982 USA SC coupes. There were also 2426 USA Targas built, along with a fairly large number of RoW and Japan coupes and Targas. That said, also consider that numbers "0001" to "0050" are reserved for test vehicles, and "0051" to "0060" are saved for special vehicles. "0061" is the actual first production number for each series beginning in 1970.

That said, I'm #...0422.
