Question help on 3.2 install into early car

Need help on matching up rear fuse panel wires to 3.2 engine harness. Is there a good source to check?

Yours will be a bit different, but this is the '86 engine harness, and the
'73 CIS console pinout. Do a search and you will find several treads on later conversions.

All the colors that need matching in a 77 are already there, properly installed in the chassis. Mainly information, pressure, temp, idiot light, starter yellow from the engine.
Tach drives off the front harness and the coil wires into emergency lights that are hot in the key start position.

Other things to consider. Are you installing the 3.2 fuel pump, there is a pressure and volume differance. The DME relay controls the fuel pump for the 3.2. It has a safety feature that shuts off the pump if the engine is not running to reduce the chance of fire in case of an accident. Now would also be the time to update the fuel lines on the 3.2 engine, they are tough to do when the engine is installed.
What transmission are you using? The 77 tranny would need notches cut for the flywheel sensors. What year is the engine from? If it was originaly a G50 I believe there is a flywheel difference. Do you intend to backdate the heat?
