Wiring a flasher relay....need help

So, somehow I toasted a 2 prong flasher for the turn signals.....it's an FL 32. The wiring has been changed under the tank, both spade connectors are the same size.

Does it matter which connector goes to which male prong? The box has no directions, the male spade connectors are labeled, "X and "L". I plan on putting a 25 amp inline fuse on each side......

Any REAL help is appreciated.

I would try it either way. I don't think you're going to hurt anything if you hook it up wrong.

X: +12VDC

Thanks...so turn the key on, one lead should power up and light the test lamp or show 12v to the Fluke, that goes to "X" and the other to "L"?
