Turbo Owners-I Need Photos of Your Engine Compartments

Boys,

I'm in the process of hooking up the A/C in my 3.3 transplant. I know there are various condensor options. I have the front condensor hooked up but need to see the various rear condensor options. I thought there was an option for an above the intercooler condensor but I'm not sure. Please post photos of your engine compartment condensor set-ups. Please forward any input or mods made which may be beneficial. Thank you.

It's not above the intercooler, it's to the side. With a condensor like this you can still fit a very large efficient intercooler, just not a full width one. The best condensor option in my opinion would be the full width one that goes under the engine. That way the condensor is larger and you can fit an even larger intercooler as well.

My mod was to take out all the air conditioner crap. Guess you don't need a picture of that.

I'm with you jk. This was an excuse to take a picture of what will soon not be there. I won't be keeping AC with the new engine. The car will be cool enough as it is

I'm going to sell my current engine and transmission.

These will be replaced with a three speed automatic and a gasoline electric hybrid motor....

Okay, only the first part is true. I'm going for a G50 six speed with a custom ratio set for the tranny. The motor will be 993 based 3.6 liter with a static compression ratio of 7.5:1. It will be fed by twin side mounted GT-2 turbos (k-24) and hooked up to an electromotive engine management system. It should be pretty fun.

Pretty fun?
Sounds down right dangerous!
This is the ImagineAuto unit right? Please let us all know how things go.

As for the A/C, sorry you need this, but I've been to Florida in the summer - A/C is not an option.

jkc, its the factory intercooler for the engine. C2Turbo. They mounted the condensor(s) in the wheel wells with these models.
