Frost in the NE, no defrost!

OK, Pull, or turn, the rear defroster won't come on, but the mirrors are working fine (heated mirrors). All fuses and relays seem fine, perhaps I've pulled a wire from underneath the dash. So, how do I get up under there to check it out with all of the other wires?

Scraping had to be done, and virtually no visual throug hthe rear window occured this morning. Any suggestions?

OK I will get flak for this but.....

If you live this far north and if they salt your roads. Take the car off the road and wait till spring.

I know you hate to do it, but it'll save your car.

Use a multimeter, go to the motor and see if there is power going to it, if no power trace the lines, see if you can find the plae where it is disconnected or loose. Also check for grounds, bad grounds cause lots of probs
