Champaign and burgundy. A restoration project comes to an end.

I bought the car in spring 2008 from a 69 year old lady who offered herself a 40th anniversary 911 for 40 years of Porsche ownership. The car was good but the paint was tired at 70,000 miles. I decided to get rid of the whale tail and do a complete respray in combination with a new clutch. Suspension was completely renewed, brakes overhauled, almost all rubbers replaced, new windscreen etc.
Last week I put a pair of 8J in the back and that also marks the completion of the project, it's been very interesting, sometimes frustrating, never dull.

To this. Notice that the fronts have anodized outer rims and the backs are polished. A winter project to get all 4 the same.

Your car looks great. The first AFTER picture the country side looks Splendid. Is that your property? Have yourself a Stella.

It's White Gold Metallic, offered only in 1985 and '86.

I'm kinda partial to that combo myself!

Nice job, Garp!

Tx. It's just around the corner from where I live, gentle hills and a large forrest close by. All I need.

Spoiler stays off, I'm staying with the clean look. It was pretty scruffed anyhow.
