87 G50 Gear ratios - who knows em?
I have an early 87 911 coupe (stock G50 no LSD) and no longer have the owners manual.
Scoured the web a bit and could not find the definitive list of the gear ratios AND the final drive ratio. Would anyone have that handy? (Need to configure traqmate better, its not showing shift to 4th, could be due to the gear ratio data found on web)  Thanks |

To add to Matt’s very accurate post
(easier if you get in there and count teeth): Type 950/01, 911 USA/Japan M298. 12:42 = 3.500 1st 17:35 = 2.059 2nd 22:31 = 1.409 3rd 32:36 = 1.125 4th 36:32 = 0.889 5th 9:31 = 3.444 FD Best, Grady
