Good 993 PPI in Toronto..and checking liens etc
Hey guys!
I have a deal on the table for a 96 993 (man, am I excited!! ) that is in Toronto and my next step is the mechanical inspection. Problem is I live in Vancouver, and am on a business trip typing this from Beijing (in an internet cafe next to Mao's tomb no less). Where is the best place for the inspection?I would like to cover the mechanicals and the body as well, given its a Toronto car. I also need to check the car for liens before I do the transfer. Can I do this through the Ontario government offices, or? Any other advice? I do plan to fly out for the final inspection and check regardless, but need to get all the protections and paperwork out of the way first. Many thanks in advance. Mike ![]() ![]()

You can run the VIN thru ontaio ministry of transportation and it lists all previous owners.
It costs 20$ and all you need is the VIN I am not in Toronto, so I cant recommend a shop there , but check the Upper Canada regiion or the PCA. Good luck Wathc out for many owners of a car , especially if they were insurance companies!

Thanks for the advice. They have a okay web site and I found that you need a UVIP, which gives owner and lien history. Very usefull!
Thanks! Mike PS Have not heard much about PPI places yet...am waiting
