Long Beach ALMS sounds by RaceTones
Hey everyone!
![]() So I took my little recorder and stood at various sections of the Long Beach course trying to get the right sound of the ALMS cars as they went by. The Flying Lizard guys wouldn't let the recorder go for a ride-along (kidding) so I got the best sounds at the pit exit along Shoreline Drive right before the braking zone. The tone can be found at the bottom of the Tones page titled "Long Beach ALMS Sounds". As always, the 917 sound can be found there as well and on the new 917 page. Enjoy! P.S. I'd REALLY love to record the newer GT3s so if anybody has one and would like it recorded...let me know and I will be deeply indebted!

Nice one, Keith. I could hear the CupCars in the ALMS sounds in addition to picking out the 997RSRs and Corvettes.
And the haunting wail of the Aston Martin V12. That scream just sent a chill up your spine.

Thanks Max! That Aston Martin was awesome wasn't it? We talked to the Aston mechanics and they said that Aston Martin wanted it designed specifically to enhance the V12 sound....I think they nailed it.
