So I had our '85 Carrera over at my wife's sisters place to show the kids. They have four.

15-year old boy: "meh"
12-year old boy: "awesome!!!"
6-year old girl: "I like riding in the back seat, it's the perfect size."

9-year old girl: "It's embarrassing having a car with the engine in the wrong place."

One day I picked up my 17 year old daughter and her friend from the ferry,when I opened the trunk to stow their gear, the friend asks with awe in her voice "where's the engine?" I responded "this is a high tech German automobile....it has no need for an ENgine". Of course my daughter rolled her eyes, to her credit, allowed me to continue the ruse. Cheers
