Need a P mechanic in San Antonio
Hey Folks,
I'm looking for a good mechanic in San Antonio area. My 76 Targa with the 87 3.2 ie "Clown College" needs to be tweeked. She's running good but she doesn't idle well so I assume it needs to be looked over a bit I did a search and found Jones Autowerks, anybody know anything about these Folks? Best Regards p930man ![]() ![]() |

Jones Autowerks is not only the absolute best in San Antonio, but one of the best shops in the country! There's nothing Pcar wise they haven't encountered in their long history, since their ownership of a VW/Porsche dealership in the 60s/70s to their current shop. I used to live in San Antonio '65-'85 and would stop in from time to time to chat with father Bill Jones and his son Bob. (Bob went to factory training in Germany) Never met anyone more knowledgeable about Pcars than those two. It was a delight to peruse the incredible projects in their shop, from a 904 race car to several original 911 IROC cars. You couldn't entrust your baby to anyone more competent!
