We have them as a special order item. There is not much demand for this size.

Thanks Chuck,
can I assume the bars you mention are from Sway-a-way ? I have a new pair of Sway-a-way 21mm bars but they are just too stiff for my SWB car that needs to handle on loose surfaces. Checking your website I see you list the 20mm bar in hollow form which I assume are a 20mm solid bar equivalent rather than actual 20mm measured hollow bars ? Can you supply 20mm solid bars ? I'm also after a pair of rear ARB consoles which I note you also supply. Will these consoles fit original 16mm rear ARB mounting clamps ? Do you sell any bushing sets for the std rear ARB set up ? (2 drop link bushes and body clamp bush) I have 3 rally cars that I have fully fitted with your Polybronze bushings all round and uprated 2 piece top mounts in the last 3 years. Great bits of kit ! So the stock 19mm bars are too soft but 21mm is too stiff?

Absolutely. 21mm bars are a 56% increase in spring rate compared to std 18.8mm bars. That is a big step up in anyones books on a car that can suffer from poor turn in, especially on loose surfaces. I suppose that's why Porsche went from 23mm rear bars right up to 26mm rear bars (63% increase) over 20 years without changing the front spring rates. I only have to look at the 30kg weights Porsche fitted to the front of my SWB to see they had a problem.
20mm bars on the front is still a 28% increase in spring rate. To be honest I'd go for something slightly less in an ideal World if it was available. I want to improve the higher speed direction change stability but without increasing understeer on turn in too much. ARBs and dampers are clearly part of this equation but I'm not planning this change in isolation. 25mm rears and my car is now turning in OK on the loose (1st gravel rally last wknd) but direction change stabilty on tarmac at speed needs to be improved. Slightly stiffer front springs and stiffer ARBs front and rear are part of that equation. Thanks Chuck, hope you see my questions above. PM me if you prefer.
