Please help identify these parts for me

Hi I have a Porsche 930 Turbo.I have recently just started to inspect it with a view to doing what work needs doing myself.I was recently under the rear end of the car next to the two heatexchangers and saw a pipe as shown in the picture had corroded to the point of being useless .Can anyone identify the part for me please?

It seems to run up the center of the Heatexchangers and has branches that connect into the engine (sorry im new to this) ive looked at my haynes manual but cant id it .

The second pic is a hose that runs from the end of the right hand heat exchanger up into the engine?

Once i identify them then maybe i can look at buying new ones and fixing them .Any help would be appreciated .Many thanks

This one shows the right hand heat exchanger and the offending pipe alongside it .

Welcome to the 930 world, I'd check on my 87 but I'm at work and won't be home for a couple of weeks. I do know that the rusty looking hose in the second to last pic is what connects the HE to a fan that pumps hot air to the cab of the car. maybe the other hose that you are talking about is plumbed into the turbo??? or air pump??? if your car has one.
The best bet is to ask the same question on the turbo board, some really smart guys there, mention the year of your car and if it is a Euro spec car or not, some one will know about it.
We also like pics of the car and some details, when you got it, past porsches etc...
Although the Haynes manual is ok the best one to have is the Bentley manual for your era of car, way more detailed and better than the Haynes, this won't help you with a specific turbo problem but is great for other repairs that are common to the 930 as well as the 911. I have the Turbo manuals for my year of car but I'm not sure if they are complete or not, I looked for the exhaust section and it was not there so I suspect I got ripped off and bought incomplete volumes as it should have had the exhaust system section being specific to our cars. I was excited when I got the turbo manuals and went right to the engine removal section hopeing to see a step by step procedure - no, all it said was remove engine, little bit of a let down. These manuals are tough to find used but a site called Lufteknic sells them new for about 400
USD, thats what I paid for my used set. I have a brand new, still in the wrapper Bentley manual that you can have for half price but shipping might be expensive. Try and find a used one. PM me if your interested.
What have you done to the car or what did the PO, previous owner do?
I changed my wheel to a 930S wheel, doubled up my intercooler and got a RarelyL8 muffler and pipe, that was a super good move , changed the car in a big, good way.
The doubled inter cooler was a cheap way to increase the cooling effect rather than going aftermarket, they are about 2K and the double cooler was about 400 - parts and labour, fits under the hood and made a big difference too.
Good luck with the car and lets see some pics of the top side.
Good luck
Scott
