Nardi Wheel - must be missing something

My very cool family gave me a Nardi wheel for Christmas.
I bought the appropriate hub and it's installed and looks great!
The other day, I bought a horn button.
When I tried to install the button, I found it's diameter to be 2" - which from what I hear is standard sizing.
But....the diameter of the hole in my wheel is about 2.25 inches - is this just the wrong button, or is there a part of this wheel I'm missing?
Also, most of the Nardi's I see installed have rings around the buttons which cover up the mounting bolts - I guess I'm missing that as well.
So, am I missing parts? If so, where can I pick them up?
Thanks!

Not sure what type - I do know it's 390mm - here's a couple of pics...

Bought a momo button - have been told that they are interchangeable...

That's the same steering wheel I have in my car. Nardi 390 (mm in diameter or 5.25 inches) Classico Wood. I really love it. I got mine off of ebay seller gevans333. He's out of Columbus Ohio. The wheel came with a Porsche Crest horn button and the rim ring to hide the bolts. I also got the adapter from him as well.

Might check with him or classicowheels.com.

You need a spacer like the one pictured below. It goes between the hub and the wheel. It reduces the gap between the diameter of the hole in the Nardi (and other wheels) and the diameter of the Momo sytle horn button.

I've been looking for one of those spacers. Any idea where to buy one?

Do any of you have any trouble with your nardi wheel not fitting securely in the column? My nardi wheel fits really well on the steering post, but it has a few mm of jiggle, which I really don't like.

thanks!

The wiggle you feel is most likely due to a problem with the steering column bearing, not the Nardi you torqued down onto the steering shaft's splines. Search for loose steering wheel and you'll find more than you need to know about that. Plus it has a very inexpensive and easy fix.

Sam,

Welcome to the best 911 BBS on earth. It would be great to see a few pictures of your car. Also, if you add your location to your profile, a local Pelican may be of even greater help.

Please add your car year and model so we know which one you are talking about.

If the whole column jiggles, you probably have a shot or missing steering column bushing. What year is your car as there are two fixes and it depends on the year of your car which one will work.

Sam,

Here's a picture of mine installed.

I know that classicowheels.com sells Nardi's and horn buttons so he'd probably be able to help you out. I bought a mahogany shift knob from him to match my wheel and it's gorgeous. The owner is a little difficult to get ahold of but just keep trying, he does quality work.
