I just purchased a set of H4's for my 74 Targa. I went though the forum archives looking for a post on how to align them - but all I could find was a sugjestion to line them up using another Porsche. I don't have access to another Porsche - does anybody have any sugjestions as to how go about this?
Thanks and Happy Holidays! Mike mike@telamon.com |

Park on a flat surface 25 feet from your garage door. Adjust the vertical adjustment screw until the beams are focused at the same height off the ground as the bulbs. Adjust the horizontal screws to focus the beams slightly right of center (enough so you don't blind oncoming traffic with the driver's side bulb and light up the edge of the road somewhat with the passenger side bulb).
Oh, and buy Wayne's 101 projects book for this and other useful information. Best $ you'll spend on your car as far as "bang for the buck" goes. Argo 88 Targa |
