Transmission mount torque specs

Anyone know where to find the bolt torque specs for the transmission mount bolts?

There is one 19mm bolts on each end of mount and then four 13mm bolts in the center.

Also, my "flat" washers on 19mm bolts are pretty bent up. Should they be replaced?

Thanks,

Hank

I assume that you mean "wrench size = 19mm." 65 lb/ft is what I've always used for those 12mm bolts. The four "nuts" near the middle of the plate are 8mm (13mm wrench size) and should be torqued to 17 lb/ft.

Those washers were originally convex (slightly cone-shaped). Can you post a picture, they might not be damaged...

Thanks,

Hank
When you start the large bolts be sure that everything lines up perfectly, and you put them in by hand - NO impact wrench! They can be cross-threaded, and that fix is not fun.

+1

The trick is leaving the 13mm bolts loose while you start threading the big one. Tighten them all up once started by hand.

IIRC, the torque spec is 60 ft-lbs on the big one. But that's just from memory.

Yes, wrench size...

Yes, I did post wrench size. (I am pretty new to this)

I did tighten all the bolts by hand first. Then put a little torque on each bolt.

The washers are no longer convex.

Transmission support seems to be snug against body, but the washers are not flush against support. They seem bent in different directions.

Will post pictures as soon as possible.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen, I appreciate the help.

These forums are great.
