Alternator to regulator wiring question
I've just swapped out my 2.0 for a 2.2 (1971) into my 69 coupe. In 1971 the wiring diagram changed for the 911. I now have to wire my alternator directly into the voltage regulator. However, my voltage regulator has some other type of regulator plugged into it as can be seen in the picture. This suggests to me I have to wire my alternator into the 2nd device (which in turn is plugged into the voltage regulator.
My question is: can anyone tell me which wires on the alternator got to which connection on this second module. I'm aware the large red wire goes to the power bar adjacent to the small fuse box on the panel that the regulator is connected to, but it's the black, blue and brown and brown wires I need to know where to connect. Picture of regulator and seperate module ![]()

I have both wiring diagrams, yet they're not of a great deal of use, as they don't show the extra module and the 3 connetors on the module aren't marked in any way. I really need someone with the same setup to tell me this color wire goes to this connector etc.
Thanks anyway Adam
